What's a day like at Creusa?

When King Charles Spaniel Fern (pictured) and her sisters, Holly the Pointer and Lily the Labrador, go on their holidays to Creusa Kennels they know they are in for a good time. Lots of cuddles, play, exercise and pampering and a chance to meet new mates.

The trio are regular visitors to Creusa where our dedicated team of staff do everything we can to make sure guests get as near to a home-from-home experience as possible.

Playtime is the first activity at 8am when Fern, Holly and Lily enjoy a romp in a large grass run and have lots of fun with Creusa staff.  Owner William Bruce said: “Some clients treat their pet’s stay as an opportunity to socialise their dog.  So we are happy to introduce dogs to new friends and, if they get on, they can go in the run together.”

After morning playtime Fern and the gang tuck into breakfast and, worn out from their play, have a morning nap while staff make sure their kennels are spic and span. Kennel assistant Danni said: “We do get distracted and often spend time having a cuddle with our lovely guests.”

Afternoon playtime starts at 2pm and after that Fern was treated to a wash and blow dry in Creusa’s own beauty salon. Back with her mates looking beautiful and smelling of watermelon shampoo it's 5pm and teatime.

Bedtime is between 8 and 9pm when William tucks his guests in, hands out treats and spends time with those who are feeling a little lonely. The lucky ones in the executive accommodation even have their own TV to watch. But it was a tiring day for Fern and she was fast asleep cuddled up to her sisters.

This is a typical day in the life for your dog when they stay at Creusa. Find out more about our care for dogs or contact us to enquire about a booking.
